Hello, all!

A couple folks have joined the discord recently. For their and others’ benefit, I’ve written some text guides on using the translation tools. There will be more added later, and I’ll keep it as up to date as I can as I modify the scripts to be a bit more consistent and user-friendly.

Video tutorials coming soon as well, but as the scripts are not yet finished, I’m hesitant to put a ton of work into videos that will eventually go out of date.

Progress has definitely been moving forward still. I did post a quick youtube video recently as I was testing further cutscenes. At last check I was up to Mantis’s cutscenes when I ended up with a game crash, so I need to review what happened in the demo that didn’t load.

More to come, albeit a bit slowly. In the meantime, here’s the youtube I posted a couple weeks back. It’s a preview of me testing thru the Baker cutscenes (You can see the english subs integrated, and some places where I have yet to hit). Mostly this was a test of the new scripts to modify zMovie.

As seen, most of the subtitles worked fine, but I found an error in the last one that needed to be corrected, as it kind of glitched out. I had a longer cut where I went all the way through meeting Otacon, but I won’t post it for now just because I haven’t cleaned up any of my personal info that might be in the video.

If I can get through the rest of disc 1, I’ll see about releasing a playable test. Still a ways away from it, but translation actually can go quite fast when I have the time.
